This school originated as a school for the children of European voluntary workers in temporary huts in H.M.S. Excalibur Camp, Alsager, which was closed in 1952.

 

Excalibur County Infant School was opened in 1954. In 1963 this school amalgamated with Alsager C.E. Controlled Junior School SL160 to form Alsager Excalibur County Primary School
